X-SEAL TRANSITION MEMBRANE is an adhesive-backed tape designed to provide additional protection against air and moisture infiltration when applied behind the X-SEAL Anchor. It ensures a tight seal, enhancing the effectiveness of the anchoring system.

FEATURES

  • Adhesive-backed for easy application
  • Protects against air and moisture infiltration
  • UV-resistant for up to 90 days
  • Material is Reinforced Polyolefin Laminated to Polypropylene

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Apply in continuous lengths for optimal adhesion
  • Surface must be clean, dry, and free from oils, dirt, dust, rust scales, or other materials that could reduce adhesion
  • Apply starting from the bottom of the wall, working upwards, and use a 3" roller with even pressure for smooth application
  • For use on rigid insulation, apply Primer-SA Water-Based Primer before the tape to prevent loosening or curling during installation

  • Store at temperatures between 40°F (5°C) and 100°F (38°C)
  • If exposed to lower temperatures, restore to a minimum of 40°F (5°C) before application
