Designed to simplify installation, this innovative starter strip can also double as a replacement for traditional siding starter strips.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the wall: Ensure the wall is watertight with a water-resistive barrier (WRB) and flashings installed per manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Position the starter strip: Install the strip at siding terminations (e.g., foundation, window heads, and eaves) to create the rainscreen air gap for proper drainage and ventilation.
3. Secure with fasteners: Use mechanical fasteners, such as staples, to attach the strip over the WRB.
4. Optional second layer: For added functionality, install a second starter strip over the first to replace the traditional siding starter strip.
